Accident are common nowadays in the street. There were accident that happened due to the negligence of the driver either he was inattentive or under the influence of liquor. There were other driver who does not observe traffic rules and regulation and don't exercise defensive driving to avoid accident. When it does happen it can brought misery to families left behind.

We are a fast-paced country. Vehicles is the prime movers of people from place to place. It was used to transport goods and services. Carelessness always result to a situation that can change his way of life if he can survive from the unexpected.

Jeffrey was ascending in a slippery road going to a subdivision located at the top of the hill. Swerving his car in an intersection when suddenly another vehicle was crossing in separate direction, then accident occurred. His car hit was hit straight to his left side smashing to the direction facing the hill. It was a terrible scene. Due to the impact, his legs was caught in the side portion of the twisted metal at the side of the car. He as in a near death situation when helped by the occupants of the truck that bumped him. There was a delay in helping him because he cannot be remove due to the twisted metal around his legs. The presence of government emergency team was in rescue attempt to remove him from his car. They used equipment. Jeffrey was already unconscious.

He was brought to the nearest hospital immediately. The doctors were busy reviving him. He recovered many hours later from a very delicate operation. He realized later that there was something missing in his legs. The operation succeeded in removing his left leg damaged due to the impact.

He almost lost his composure upon knowing that he lost his leg. Her felt the pain of losing it because he knew that in his present condition some changes will come into his life. It is very painful to bear to become an incomplete person in his early age of past 20's. His hope and dreams shattered. His family and friends were there beside him giving their emotional support.

It took several months before Jeffrey completely recovered living in his new world. He knew it was his fault crossing without seeing the other direction. He already accepted his fate due to his carelessness. His only regret is that the price is too high.

Unexpected situation like this will happen when we are not careful enough in our movement. Accident is always there waiting for us.Even at home, doing a simple thing can do have an accident if we are not attentive to our action.

To find it to be useful, Jeffrey tried to learn painting. His new occupation brought him to be popular in his design and the beauty of his craftsmanship. Almost all his painting sold out in a gallery showcase exhibit placed in one of the city mall. The demand of his painting is great.

His new endeavor occupied his mind away from his painful experience. His potential as an artist only came out later.

Being a disabled person is not hopeless after all. Even if he almost run-out his luck, but being alive is enough.
