MAKING MONEY-IS IT THE ONLY THING IN LIFE?

Now –a- days, we find human beings are after money than people who were a few decades back. Our grandparents must be wondering why we are after money only. They of course had brought up children; believe me they had many to take care of, since there were no family planning methods. But, they will tell us they were not only after money but could bring up their children very well.

So, what has happened in the last few decades? Perhaps wants had increased. The grandparents had very little sophisticated things that were available at huge cost then for them to buy and they led a very simple life. Since their demands were low, they had with the available means could take care of their children easily even though the number they had to take care was much more than the present day parents. Most of them, perhaps worked well sweating under the sun because most of them were agriculturists.

Industrialization brought about a huge difference in the outlook of people and many cities developed around the industrial belt. There was a slow but steady movement from villages to cities. Then there were rapid strides and the last two to three decades saw a lot of speedy development, which makes everyone, wonder how far this, will go on.

In the midst of all these human beings are slowly but surely have become money making machines. Now they have limited families with the advent of family planning methods but their desire to have more and more money belies justification. What is that they are aiming at, God only knows. It is always better for everyone to make money but there should be a limit for all these things.

Of course, you need money for educating your children, taking care of your future health problems and the like after you have a shelter for yourself. But the way each one of them is earning is though as if they are going to live forever in this World. As parents the desire should be to make the children study well and take care of themselves. It is not necessary for the parents to build empires to hand it over to the children. By doing so, we will make the children lazy only because they will have nothing to achieve in life as parents had given enough, not only for them but for their next generations too.

By doing all these hard exercises of making huge money, human beings are losing one important thing in life. That is enjoying the money they made. One should give importance to the finer aspects of their life. For example, one may be very much interested in listening to music or playing games like football, cricket or watching moving or even go to several places to see natural beauty. But in the crazy world of making money and more money he buries all his instincts and enjoyments and ultimately when age takes over with all types of ailments he will not have inclination to spare time or his health will not permit such things and ultimately ends his life without any purpose.

So, dear friends spare more time for all the interesting things in life at every point of time. Though making money is important, it is not the end in itself and only the means to achieve the desired things. Let us be happy and make all of us around feel happy.
