May you find the courage to change your life and experience the joy and pride of being a success.
One last thing: the truth was a hard thing to tell my family and friends. I lost part of my family throughout this process. My true friends cheered me on and supported me. I did not lose my son. I still communicate with my caseworker, my parenting teacher and my counselors. I am forever in their debt.
My son carries a skateboard under his arm at the age of 3 and rides it all over the place. He pops wheelies on his bicycle that still has training wheels on it!! I now realize that the really hard work is ahead of me. To be a good mommy and parent for the rest of my life. To continue to be his caretaker.
Take back the power. Take back your child(ren). I pray that you hear me. I pray that you just STOP! Listen. Love.
