Parents as a guiding light to children

Aside from television computer is one common source of information and entertainment nowadays. More and more people are hooked and addicted to it. This technology brings so much help for every people when properly use. The possible harmful effects of this technology to our children especially in their studies could be avoided when they are guided properly. As what i have observed a lot of kids spend so much of their time on computers and others tend to neglect their studies.
I think the blame should not be pointed solely on this technology, or the outside environment where our kids used to hang out, but rather we parents who has the biggest responsibilities towards our children should take time to examine and ask ourselves if we really did our part. We should always remember to guide our children properly and its go
od to know their activities, after all our children and family is our main concern, we are the guiding light to our children.
We should not limit our responsibilities to the basic needs of the family but we should also guide them morally and spiritually. Many children now lacks guidance from their parents. Some parents maybe are too busy to be there for their children when they needed most but whatever the case maybe we should give importance and pay attention to the needs and wants of our children.
We should not give up on our children...They are our precious gift and treasures. They gave us joy and the reasons to live. We work so hard for them in order to provide everything they need. We should not allow the outside forces or environment, technologies in this high tech world interfere with their future and lives. Instead we should protect and guide them properly.
