Swine flu vaccination for pregnant Women? yes or no?
I am writing this article out of my personal opinion and thoughts.

This morning when I was having my cup of coffee and reading the newspaper, some shocking news was mentioned. In France, a 38 week pregnant women lost her baby two days after getting the vaccination… In the article it is said that the connection between the death of the baby and the vaccination is not proven.

If the woman gets vaccinated and two days later she is losing her child, then it seems to me that this has everything to do with it. My partner is 30 weeks pregnant and we have been thinking of getting the injection as the risk to be infected is higher with small babies and pregnant women. After seeing this article we were scared. Although it is said that the vaccination that was given to this lady was with adjuvant and should have gotten without. To tell you the truth, I have no idea what adjuvant is or not but what I do know is that the vaccination is not tested on pregnant women so the risk side effects and in the worst case losing your baby is high. Last month we went to the doctor to see what he had to say about this vaccination. Directly it was told that it is safe and needs to be given as the risk of infection is high and with this the infection rate would be less and we would feel more secure. Well after reading this story I don't think we will continue.

I cannot stop thinking of the woman who lost her baby due to this. She was more then 8 months pregnant. The due date was two weeks away.

Now the doctors are saying to take the vaccination without adjuvant but as per my opinion I would say not to get the vaccination at all!!

As long as you feel good, keep warm and do what you normally do to prevent yourself from having the flu. You should be fine.

Keep safe and healthy and to all new parents or parents to be out there congratulations and take care of mom and baby!

God bless
