Which Baby Nappies Are Best?

Baby Nappies

You would like to think that it would be easy to choose baby nappies, but you would be wrong! There are so many different brands, types, shapes and sizes on the market, and the whole process can actually be quite daunting. The cheapest disposable nappies contain nasty chemicals such as gels and bleaching agents, and these can cause damaged skin and nappy rash. It may shock you to learn that up to 8 million nappies are thrown away every day in the UK, and that 90% of these go to landfill where they can take hundreds of years to biodegrade!

Real nappies are more expensive initially and are more time consuming to wash, but in the long run real nappies could save you up to £500 (compared to disposables). Also, as a result of our growing waste problem, some local authorities are offering mothers an incentive to buy real nappies rather than disposables. For instance, Denbighshire County Council are offering mothers vouchers worth up to £75, to be used in part-payment in the purchase of real nappies.Yo
u are probably thinking that you would prefer the convenience of a disposable, without the guilt? Well, Spirit of Nature offers a huge range of affordable baby nappies which are kind to baby's skin and the environment. They offer Eco-disposables, real nappies, semi-disposables, as well as 100% biodegradable nappy sacks & liners.

The Bambo Nature and Moltex Eco nappies are a great alternative to disposables. They have all the same great features of the standard disposables, but are free from harmful chemicals, made with natural fibers, and come at an affordable price! ECO-disposable nappies can biodegrade in 6 months when put in a worming compost and take significantly less time to biodegrade in landfill.Spirit of Nature also offers the best of both worlds. The new Weenees nappies are breathable, reusable nappies that have 100% disposable and biodegradable nappy liners. This really is THE Eco Friendly Compromise! When you are choosing baby nappies, make sure that they are natural, free from harmful chemicals, and don't cost the earth! Check out baby nappies at Spirit of Nature now!

sure, real cloth nappies are gentler than the disposable type but yes, currently there are disposable diapers out in the market that work as well. Am so glad for that.

I'll go for disposable nappies since it offers convenience to me.

Good piece. I will have to try both just to compare which really works. You have some good points though.
