Being exposed to both Filipino traditions and the lifestyle found in New York City, I seem to lack the image of typical Dalagang Filipina. My conspicuously unusual red hair does nothing to assist me in fitting the description. My darker skin tone is evidence of the racial crossings in my blood, thanks to my already ethnically-mixed parents. Perhaps almost peculiar to the eye, the incessant flashings of my camera tend to unintentionally attract unwanted attention. My walls testify to the amount of pictures I am capable of taking on a daily basis. When with friends, the amount of pictures double, the endless quotes from "Will & Grace continue to a point of extreme annoyance, and the volumes of laughter from inside jokes rise to decibel levels high enough to damage eardrums. For this reason among many others, there are three passions I value most in this world: my friends, make up and photography.
