Do you ever think that single parenting might not bring something good to your children? I know how hard being a single parent. There's always been sacrifices that need a support of a partner to cope it out. You wished things would be different. Despite of these impediments of single parenting there are also a positive effects of single parenting to you and to your children.

These are the positive effects of single parenting that I have learned recently.

First, it could develop a stronger bonds. Since you are the person who spends most of the time to your kids this could generate unique intimacy between you and your kids a
nd maybe a stronger bonds if you we're not a single parent.

Second, shared responsibilities. It is necessary to let your child know that you appreciate his/her effort for helping home chores. Show recognition to their efforts so that they will know the importance of their work and take pride to their own effort.

Lastly, experience real-life. A healthy approach which prepares your kids for the real world is even if they are your priority don't treat them as they are your center of attention. This approach helps your child to maintain balance to their own needs separately with the needs of the family. This will teach them to also consider others need while making theirs.
